*Mexico presents his vision for REDD+ program* COP16

National plan aims to end destruction and degradation of forests.
Mexican forestry officials on Wednesday presented a national vision for the REDD+ program, a global strategy spearheaded by Norway and France that provides financial compensation to around 60 countries for efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions caused by deforestation and forest degradation.
